Name Badges
All participants, accompanying persons and exhibitors are kindly requested to wear their badges throughout the Congress in order to be admitted to the lecture halls and other scheduled activities.
Transportation
Most countries have flights to Ankara Esenboða International Airport. Regular flights to major cities in Turkey are also available. To make a flight reservation, please contact Alabanda Tourism Co. Please keep in mind that Alabanda Tourism Agency is at your service for all your needs until and after the meeting. Special agreements with Airline Companies have been made and you can benefit from these special low rates by ordering your ticket from Alabanda by e-mail, fax or phone. Payments can be made by credit card to Alabanda, the ordered tickets can be picked up from your airlines' office at your hometown or at the airport even on the day of travel. It is very easy, just give your travel dates and Alabanda will do the rest.
Climate

Transportation
Airport transfers will be available before and after the Congress. The
flight details and the transportation form should be filled in and returned
to the Congress Secretariat addresss at least 10 days before the arrival
date. There will be shuttle service and the fare is €25 (one way / per
person) If required, flight reservations can be made by Alabanda Tourism
Co. Inc. including airport transfer arrangements as complimentary.
Taxi
The taxi fare is approximately €70 (one way) from Airport to the Hotels
area.
Currency
The local currency is New Turkish Lira (YTL).The exchange rate is daily
changeable. It is possible to exchange money at the airport, banks,
hotels and exchange shops all around Ankara.
Electricity
General household electric power is 220 volts.
Time
Greenwich meantime plus 2 hours.
Climate and Clothing
In October the weather can be 10-18 degrees day time 3-5 degrees at
nights in Ankara. Therefore sweaters are suggested for the evenings.
