- Extended abstracts should be received no later than July 31, 2008.
- Only the extended abstract received through our official web-page
will be considered. An extended abstract template can be downloaded here:
- Extended Abstracts may be submitted in both in English and/or
Turkish.
- Editorial board will evaluate the papers by reviewing the extended
abstracts only. Therefore, extended abstracts should contain
enough information i.e., purpose, applied techniques, conclusions
and references (max 75 words).
- Abstract (max. 75 words) should be both in English and Turkish.
Organization will provide translations to Turkish for International
participants.
- Extended abstracts should be 4 pages long (A4: 297 mm. x 210
mm.) including figures and tables. Shorter or longer sized abstracts
will not be accepted. Margin format: 3 cm. from left, 2.5 cm. from
right, top and bottom. Title height should be 5.5 cm. The text character
size should be 11 Pnt Times New Roman on a single column and a
single line. The title text size should be 13 Pnt and bold. Only initial
characters in words of first order headings text should be capital and
this headings text should be bold and 12 Pnt. Only initial characters
in words of second order headings text should be capital and 12 Pnt.
This headings shouldn't be bold. Only initial character of first word
of higher order headings text should be capital and this headings
should be 12 Pnt. italic and not be bold.
- Call for papers that include information about papers, should be sent
with abstracts.
- Papers should be original and should not be presented in other
conferences and meetings.
Oral Presentations
The presentations are limited to 15 minutes and 5 minutes will be given
for discussions.
Rules For Poster Presentation
Posters should be hung on the allocated places. Discussions will be held at the time indicated in the program. Their heights and widths should be 100 cm and 70 cm respectively.
Posters must be readable from a distance of about 1 meter. The name and the institution of the author(s) should be indicated on the top of each poster.The title should be written in capital letters of 2.5 cm. It is necessary for the authors to be in the posters' hall on the allocated time.
